This sight will have articles and photos of women who are indeed winners, women who have taken adversity and turned it into a positive influence in their lives and others as well. Many of these women aren't famous or highly visible. Most will be those we might overlook and mistake for ordinary. The women we will write about will be mothers, housewives, aunts, sisters, Friends, executives, wives, single, White, Black, Native, Hispanic, Aisian, Arab, Muslem, Christian, Buddist in a 12 step program, not in a 12 step program....

What we aren't....
We aren't a male bashing site.
In 1994 I went to a little class called "Lives in Transition" at Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon. My instructor who is now one of my best freinds, taught all of us in the class that we never have to do anything alone. WOW what a concept! She also taught us the value of sticking together and "Networking". Maybe that is why 75% of all woman owned small business's succeed in the United States, and only 25% of male owned new business's succeed. Most of us work in the spirit of co-operation and the guys that will be successful will probably be sneeking over to this sight to see what we are doing right.
